Only a Dream by Jazz Singh

only-a-dreamOnly a Dream by Jazz Singh is a breezy young romance that hooks you onto the plot right from the beginning. Rhea works for a Hotel Corporation and when the hotel is taken over by a bigger company, she resigns because the man who heads the corporation is her old lover.

Varun is not happy about the fact that Rhea is resigning and tries to renew his friendship with her. But Rhea is in no mood to listen to him, not after he had jilted her badly by getting married to somebody else on the stealth abroad, while she was waiting for him in India.

As the day of leave nears, Varun pursues her endlessly for a chance to explain, make amends and for forgiveness but Rhea resists the opportunity at every stage. Will they ever get together? Will she ever know why he jilted her?

With some parts of the story told in flashback, the suspense of Varun’s betrayal is well-kept until the very end. I loved the interactions between their gang of friends who stand up to Rhea when she needs them most. And the chemistry between Rhea and Varun simply sizzles!

So why does Varun jilt Rhea despite loving her passionately? You will have to find it out yourselves! A must-read!
